Symptoms of Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), also known as acute myelogenous leukemia (AL), is a grave blood cancer that affects the bone marrow. In AML, the bone marrow produces abnormal blood cells. These abnormal cells grow uncontrollably, crowding out normal blood cells. This can lead to a variety of severe symptoms, which may differ from person to person.
